Hello, I am located in Pueblo West, CO. I am sorry to say I do not have a Peruvian female, but I do have 2 young female piggies I am trying to find a good, forever home for.
The first is Popcorn, she is an Abyssinian and completely white. We named her Popcorn because when we first got her she was popcorning like crazy!
Her sister, at least I was told they were sisters at the shop where I purchased them, is black and white and I am guessing she is an English (Smooth Coat). Her name is Squeakers and yes she got her name because she squeaked (which I now Know is called wheeking) tons when we first picked her up. She still does wheek more than her sister.
The reason I am finding a new home for them is that although they are well cared for here, no one spends any time witht the poor dears. When we first purchased them about 9 months ago, they are 10 months old now, I purchased 1 for my then 10 year old daughter and 1 for my then 4 year old son. It is a long story, but I had originally purchased just one for my son from Petco who ened up dying within a week's time. I had done some research and felt a guinea pig would be a good companion for my son at his age. I had been on the internet trying to find out what might be wrong with her and what I could do to help (it was Saturday night and we were going out of town the next morning) when I found the Guinea Lynx site and I did what I could for her, but when we came home Sunday evening she had passed.

Through the Guinea Lynx site and Guinea Pig Cages site I found out that they really needed a companion and also a much larger cage, hence my reason for purchaing two and for our large 2 x 4 grid C & C cage with an upper deck. To find out more about C & C cages, if you don't know about them already, you can visit their site at
Guinea Pig Cages, Your Cavy At Home. Our cage is included for you as well if you are interested. I noticed you said you had something already so we could talk more about that later if you are interested in the girls.
When we first got them we all seemed to spend an alot of time with them and although we all still love them dearly they are lucky to get out more that 15 minutes a week and I feel bad for them. They are still skittish when I comes to picking them up, but onec you have them they are fine and really quite sweet. They have never bitten or acted aggresive in any way.
I want to find a good home for them and am not in a huge hurry to find them a home as they are not a problem here so I will be picky about who I give them to. I am asking for a monitary donation which we can discuss later, again if you are interested.
I would like to give you a couple pictures, but seem to be having trouble with that. You can check out pictures on the
Guinea Pig Cages, Your Cavy At Home site. My user name is luverofpiggies so I hope you can find them. I have a thread I placed on their forum for Adoptables as well where you can see thier pictures.
Finally I would be will ing to meet you in Colorado Springs if everything works out. Finally, if you prefer to email me you may at
