Looking for peope/pigs in Ontario Canada

We are lloking for people with pigs to chat with and pigs to adopt in Ontario Canada. We were running a rabbit rescue but many facility's have opened in our area. We have decided there are too many piggies sitting in shelters and peoples basements waiting for homes and love. We are able to accomidate and work with several animals at one time and are hoping to reach the public about the need for more cavie related shelters in ontario. We have spoken to our bunny's vet and he is more than willing to be our pig vet as well. If anyone has referals or links to people in ontario we would really appreciate it.

Have you tried Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten. to see other rescues in your area?

Yes we've tried about a dozen different searches and we've only come up with one pig rescue home. I think we may start calling the local humane society's and see if they have anyone on the soon to be eauthinized list or any foundations looking for foster homes.

i also live in Ontario. Toronto to be exact. And i cant find any one on this site that lives in canada. i also can't post, can't search, can't write in the forum, this site needs ALOT of work, and to realize that the US is NOT the only place on earth..

I wish I could! I've had an overwhelming number of replies to our looking to adopt an unwanted guinea pig ad! It's insane! It's a good thing we still have everything left over from our rabbit rescue because I think we're gonna need it!
