Hi Jeanna,
Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue and also Small Angels Rescue both support the Maryland area. You can see their available piggies through Petfinder. If you see a piggie you are interested in adopting, you can link to both groups through Petfinder to find out more about the adoption process.
Good luck!

Before you decide to give up your piggies, you may want to consider reading the following regarding reliquishing your pet http://www.smallangelsrescue.org/doc...e_rehoming.pdf
Please consider the possibility of managing your allergies, but also really consider what kind of care you have been giving your cavies versus what kind of care they may receive if left at a shelter -- if it comes to that. And, if worse-comes-to-worst and you decide to relinquish them to a shelter, please make sure to do your homework first to see if the shelter euthanizes guinea pigs and also to see if they are associated with any cavy rescue groups. Hopefully, your situation won't come down that.
