Question Can piggies have Chia?

I have a Chia Pet, and I was wondering if piggies can have Chia. I don't know what else to do with it, and it's starting to die, so please help!

I'm sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I'm feeling crummy today!!

Here's a link on the nutritional value of chia seeds:
Nutrition Facts and Analysis for Seeds, chia seeds, dried

Chia seeds themselves are good cavy food, with a calcium/phosphorus ratio of 3.93, over the minimum of 1.33, but negligible vitamin C content. Sprouting them will increase the C content, especially once they are exposed to light and turn green. I can't find anything regarding the nutritional content of chia sprouts at all!

Anyone else have other info?
