Hi I am making a my first post... YAY

I am a guinea pig lover and a lover of forums. Yeah I get to play with both.

I love pictures and man I love a lot.

I want to share something too. I you like pictures there is a new registry looking for pictures... Edited out website link. Breeder supportive/how-to links are not allowed. check it out they need pictures and they have updates in their forum as well.

O well hope to see some coments here..

This website is dedicated to helping to home the thousands of guinea pigs in rescue, shelter and foster that is caused by overbreeding.

Sorry I was not aware of that. I had posted the link becuase of the fact they are looking for pictures of guinea pigs not becuase what they do or do not do. Even rescued piggys are photographed and have a right to be placed on a site. and they are accepting even mixed bred photos. It was a good way for me to show my babies and others to do the same. Sorry if this offended you.

It didn't offend me but the site is all about showing and breeding and therefore offends what this forum stands for.

Though you approach people crude and with the sence of being a very unhappy person, I went and talked to the people at NACC the website I previously posted (website removed again) explained to me that this site isn't only about breeding and showing it is also to contain knowledge about guinea pigs as well as a page for rescues, it also states that before going to pet stores to check rescues for a guinea pig. He had asked that I ask here (since I am still a member) if you had a list of North American Rescues. ? Maybe he could add those if everyone on the list was approving of it. something to thik about..

Please understand that we do NOT allow links that go to sites that contain breeding or showing information, PERIOD. It does not matter what else the site contains. If it has anything related to breeding or showing, we will not allow it here.

Please don't try to pick a fight with me because you have been hanging out on CavyComp and reading their propaganda about me. Yes I still read there and have seen your posts.

I was very polite about you posting and me removing the link to that breeder/breeding site. You were very impolite to purposely break the rules and repost it.

I had no hard feelings about it the first time but your blatant disregard for the rules of this site and your attempt to bait me into a reaction now has me watching you more closely. You have lost trust and respect points with me.

I hope I have made myself clear. I do not wish to make any enemies nor do I wish to have to ban anyone but I have been made a moderator on this site to insure that it runs smoothly and people obey the rules. If you are unwilling or unable to comply then you may find another forum more to your liking.

If you actually look around this site you will see that it is all about rescues and rescuing. Not just in North America but all around the world. Being a fairly new site the list is still growing but I would have to say that the majority of the major rescues around the world are already listed here. Cavy Spirit and Guinea Lynx also already have large rescue lists as well.

I doubt the reputable rescues would want to be listed on a site that encourages breeding and the exploitaton of guinea pigs.
