Do they eat veggies?

I don't know if they eat veggies. There were two in the exhibit (probably male and female) and there were no veggies, but there was a HUGE pool for them! That stone in the upper right hand corner is the start of the pool.

When I first say one I thought it was a beaver without a tail.

They live in the same places as guinea pigs... Hmmm, does that mean that people ate them, too?
