No, Foggy said animal abuse. And if it makes all of you happy, I am going to get the c&c cage really soon. Also, I went to the pet store with my dad to get fish stuff, and there were these 3 piggies. My dad asked if 2 males could be put together, but the guy said they fight. Is that true? So Emo can never have a friend?

That's a myth propogated by pet stores. Look at the tiny cages they sell, of course two pigs can squabble in such tiny quarters.

Perhaps you should read over guinealynx and guineapigcages.com over throroughly and print out some of pages for your parents.

I don't know why you keep asking the same questions repeatedly either. Sorry but it seems like you are not listening.

The pet store clerk was probably refering to Hamsters living together.

I had Ziggy living alone for 4 years . He seemed to love being by himself hes really close to me and my wife. He comes to us when hes out on the floor. However into his 4 years he started getting lazy and seemed kind of withdrawn from us.He wouldnt come out and play no more and mostly sleeped. So we started talking about a friend for him. Then we adopted Shadow. Shadow is female so they have there own cages and the C&C is divided but they get to sniff each other and they know there not alone. Since we got her Ziggy has perked back up and plays more and acts like he used to . We really think it rejeuvinated him.

And a note on your cage. Shadow and Ziggy still both use store bought cages but the sides are open on them and they can both get out of their cage and go into the larger C&C cage.

Could you please find the post where I said you were abusing animals? I have been pretty busy with the rescue this week and don't have a lot of time to look it up.

I am disappointed in you, Summer. I really thought you had potential, but now you're just giving us attitude.

I looked through myself and Foggy never said you were a bad piggie owner. She said you needed some education. All piggie owners don't know every thing. There's always room for improvement. I don't think my piggies are in a awsome cage. But, its big enough for them to be happy and not squiched together.

Since I expanded (for the second time) I noticed a huge change on attitude. Precious was popcorning. And if you read my post about it, it was shocking to see her popcorn but now she does it on a daily baysis. It's fun to see them jumping around because they are happy because of what you did. You can change how Emo feels, simply by taking advise and not listening to the petstore people and trying to get your parents to do the same. For once have them following your example.

We arn't saying you are a terrible parent and you abuse your piggie. We are simply trying to help you give your piggie the best there possably is. That includes a bigger cage and a friend.

I hope your piggie gets a friend and a bige C&C cage soon. Best of luck.

I dont believe my cage is big enough for my two girls either, it is 24 x 48 and just doesnt look right. I had been off work for 3 weeks then went back for 12 to 16 hours, which really hurts whn your use to over 40, but I have managed in 2 months time to safe enough money to make them a bigger one. Summer noone ever said you were a bad piggie owner, they just gave you lots of advise which personally I am taking. I am not perfect by no means and I appreciate the advise these people have given me and others. They are here to help everyone. Could be the age difference, your a young person and Im a not so young person. Age makes a difference.

That is it! I don't care how big the cage needs to be, I'm leaving this forum. Foggy can go jump in a pit for all I care. I will handle this by myself thank you.
