Smile Mr.goff

Hello there,

I'm Sam, 7 weeks ago, i adopted 2 female, rescued piggies.
I named the eldest, Rosie (15 weeks) and the younger, Tillie (14 weeks).

4 days ago i was checking on my 'little squeekers' when I noticed that a small area of thier bedding was stained slighty red. Obviously, i thought the worst. opening the door to their closed off bed area, i was shocked to discover a fluffy baby piggie! i had been telling everyone that she had to be pregnant but they said she couldnt be. I have now worked out that she was pregnant before i rescued her, and mother and baby are doing very well.

And thats my exciting story!

WoW! That is a surprise...Wish you the best for the moma and the baby.

Are you sure you have two females? Just checking, It wouldn't be nice for the moma to get pregnant again. Also sex the baby if is a boy you need to separate them. I do not really remember if it is at 4 or 6 weeks, maybe someone else can tell you more about it...

You need to separate them if the baby is a boy at 3 weeks.

thankyou, they're doing very well. I took them to the vets today for a check - up : they think that the baby is a boy but as it is very young i will have to check in a couple of weeks, they said they are both very healthy, apart from the baby having an infection on his left eye. this is due to a scratch caused by the hay in their bed, they gave me some eye drops and said it should clear up in a week or so.
