For the love of companion cavies... Your guinea pig home for adoption, rehoming, rescue, registration, classifieds, care, housing, pet stores, reviews, products, resources & more!
Poor Spike gets called different things by each of my family members..... Some are:
Spikey
Hog-o (courtesy of my grandmother!)
Mushy-Spike
Spiker
Fatso
I routinely refer to him as my "good boy." Even though he misbehaves.
I call Penny short for Penelope: "Gorda" (That means fat), and Linny short for Leonardo: "Nini". Chibi short for Chibiaimi: "Esa Chibi" (That is like That Chibi), and Chimicuino: "El Chimicuino" (That is like The Chimicuino).
My piggies are bilingual...LoL! Everytime we adopt I tell everybody that we have to teach them Spanish...The pets look confuse in the beggining, and eventually they get use to us and our language...My son speaks only English, so they have to be bilingual...LoL
lol, bilingual. My friend is Spanish and it's funny 'cause her dogs are bilingual so is her cat. When she yells at the dog he just looks at her like he really understands!
