Re: question about a playball (and harnesses)
I already have both since the day I got my 2 pigs and my guys will strangle themselves to get out of the harnes and just sit in the ball. Wast of money and Great health risk!
I heard that guinea pigs don't like the balls. I got one for Precious and she did the same thing. It's now in the attic it does not help in exercise. I think the best thing to do ,exercise wise, would to take them somewhere they can run to there little hearts content! Like in a backyard or in a big room.
i just let my guinea pigs run around my bed room. i have a bed they can't get under and their poop and pee is easy to clean up and doesn't really have an odor...they love it though.
I look on Ebay all the time to see what's out there for pigs & have emailed sellers that are selling those balls--some are nice & appreciate the advice--they read the packaging also & just didn't do their homework & agree to pull the item, or rephrase the ad. Other's have gotten belligerent & nasty. You can't fight city hall when it comes to pigs--either people do their homework or they don't. Unfortunately it's the pigs who suffer.
I almost bought a harness the other day now I'm glad that I didn't. Gosh that idiot at the store said that you can walk them around and they love it. Glad ya'll know more about piggies than me!
