Newbie to the board, not to pigs!

Hey all!

I'm Erin. I'm thinking about adding a pig to my household after Christmas; still undecided if now's the right time.

I'm currently the human for a dog, Maggie Mae, and I've had piggies since Sept. 99. My last piggie, Miss Piggywillow, was also my first piggie. She died this summer at 7yo and I'm starting to miss her (tho I don't know about the cage cleaning lol). Miss Piggy was a red abby/american cross and an incredibly great little pig. My second pig, Millenium (Millie for short), was brought home December 1999 (hence the name). She was a lot shyer than Miss Piggy. She passed in late 2005.

I'm currently a senior in college, majoring in animal science, set to graduate in May 2007! I'm very involved in the doggie community and have spent a lot of time in animal shelters as a volunteer. I'm a general animal nut I guess. In the little free time I have, I generally can be found hiking with the dog, rollerblading, or curled up on my bed reading.
