I'm not sure if I'm 100 correct, but most piggies like that would be "American" breed. She looks somewhat like the "Dutch" variety, though the white does not extend all the way around her body.

Try the American Cavy Breeders Assoc. site for breed info:

American Cavy Breeders Association - ACBA ON LINE

Or this one:

Thank you all. I am proud to say they now have a 27x56 cage. I have not got the grids yet but my husband made the sides on the coroplast high so they couldnt escape. I have to be careful, my Boxey is a jumper. She LOVES to jump up on old shoe boxes and lay there. My daughter made them some tents (idea came from Stryde, thanks a bunch) and they just love them.
Im kind of nervous about screwing up their schedule now. I go back to work today and they are use to 4 to 5 hours of floor time. Now they will only get about 1 and 1/2 hours and their second salad of the day is going to be a lot later then usual.
Pixie is coming out of her shell, she is really vocal when she hears the fridge open now. She also purrs when I pick her up. She let me clip her back nails, it was great she just sat there. Boxey needs to take lessons. Haha. Boxey has actually been eating parsley, she and pixie fight over it now. Pixie usually wins, I think Boxey just gives in because Pixie is smaller. It a blast watching them.

Goofball is a jumper too! I got a video og her jumping onto the back of a hut, that was in the center so she wouldn't be able to jump it, but she found a way to jump it and then jumped right on over to enjoy some extra floor time! Now the huts are against the side of the wall so she can't escape anymore.
