Default Newbie

Hello all from sunny California,
We are the proud owners of two females piggies.
We just got them and they are very shy, one more than the other. We havent been able to hold them yet b/c they wont let us yet ....patience I know. Im trying to tell my kids (3) that.

Im not sure they were handle a lot when babies. They are now 5 months old now.

We are building them a brand new 2x4 (grids) home but Im having a hard time finding that coroplast. The home improvement stores in my area dont carry them. They didnt know what it was. Maybe Fast Signs has it.

We are learning about them and we are enjoying them even if cant get a hold of them.
I havent been able to check them out (grooming) but I see that soon they will need nails clipped and if I cant hold them ....that will be hard.

I really like this forum. Im learning a lot.
Thanks.
Py

Thank you for your reply.

I called Fast Signs and they sell it by the bulk lol...they told me to look in the phone book under sign stores and I did. I found one store that carries it by the sheet 4'x8' for $30. Im not sure if thats a good deal since other stores in my area dont carry it

I'll keep looking tomorrow and if not I'll used linoleum until I find it.

Thanks again/

I paid $48 for 2, 4x8 sheets, maybe I got a price break when I told them I was building a guinea pig cage

The best way to find coroplast is to look in your phone book at all the sign shops in your area. Call each one and ask if they have coroplast or correx. Around here the prices go from $12 to $35, so it really does help to call around.
