Hello everybody, my names shani. i've been a pig lover ever since my teacher introduced me to them, around six years ago
i've got two girls , my black and white american crested named Penelope and the yet to be named long haired abyssian agouti mix
oh and im currently housing an abandoned boy my friend found, but he's going off to his loving forever home in a week
Welcome Shani! Your pigs are really cute. That's nice of you to take care of the boy pig and find him a home. You didn't mention it, but he's in a different cage, right?

but i do have a question, the girl i just got from craigslist i have noticed has lice, she's in her own cage right now for quarantine, but all the cages are in the same room around each other, though neither of the other two appear to have gotten any lice should i treat them all still? can they get it if they don't actually have contact? i would do it in a heartbeat my only issue is cost right now
Quarantine should be done in a separate room. I'd say the chances of all having the lice are pretty good. Advantage is good for lice--one tube should take care of all the pigs. Check out dosage info on http://www.guinealynx.info/antiparasitics.html .
yeah i did the best i could do with the quarentine.. but i'll just get some advantage from petsmart
and aww i'm going to miss the little guy , it took me about two months to find him a good home, and now i'll hate seeing him go haha, but it's for the best i suppose
