Honeslty, the best way to determine is to take them to the vet for an ultrasound to check for babies. Some people have also said that they can feel the pups fluttering around. I guess it all depends on how far along. The best idea is to take the girly to the vet for a full exam.

i once read there was a letter you could send to a pet store about the way animals were treated. My duaghter and I went Saturday and noticed that they had guinea pigs with rabbits which horrified me and obvousily they do not know how to determine if the guinea pigs are girls are boys what is the proper way of telling them that gp's do not belong with rabbits for a number of reason

Well, I dont know if this is the "proper" way but heres what I would do: Ask to see the manager! Have printed out information from reliable sources stating how dangerous and cruel it is to house them both together. Insist that changes be made and state that you will be checking back by the next day to see that they have been made. If the manager refuses to comply, tell him/her that you WILL be reporting them to the nearest animal cruelty officials and then do so. Also, you could send a letter to the owner of that branch of the store or to the company. If possible, take your cellphone and take pictures as evidence. Some stores are shifty and will remove the animals from being together just for the period of time they know they are at risk of being checked out.

Hello and welcome! Your piggie is adorable and if you have trouble finding Coro than you can always use a shower curtain but you have to use fleece for it. Here's my cage: New (bigger) cage - Guinea Pig Cage Photos
And that blue thing is there old cage!

Remember, as hard as it is, NEVER buy an animals from a petstore. It's worse than buying from a breeder. I know how hard it is to want to take a pig out of a bad situation but you will just be continuing a huge horrible cycle. When you buy one pig, it will be replaced by 4 more. Another pig will be bred (probably back to back and in horrid contions) and it will happen again.
