We finally found friends for our piggie Carroty. We have had him now for 7 months (he is now about a year old). We thought he was lonely for piggie companionship so we searched high and low with shelters and ads in our state. One introduction failed miserably - our guy was just so aggressive with the guy we tried to match him with. We thought maybe he was meant to live solo.
But, lo and behold we found a rescue about 2 hours away that had a pair of spayed females and Carroty just LOVES them! Of course he tries to be "too friendly" if you know what I mean, but the girls put him in his place and they are getting along so nicely.
We couldn't be happier that we now have a crew of 3. The kids named the girls Snickers and Kit Kat. We are unsure of their age but hopefully they will be with us for many years to come.
