Default New Piggy Parent in MD

Just adopted two piggies this weekend. One is 1yr old and the other is 6 weeks old. Well both are not fixed and the bigger one has been humping the poor little Applesauce every chance he gets. I know it shows dominance but last night there was "mating goo" involved. "Big Boy" has an appointment with the vet on Monday so hopfully this will end. Hope to have better news later.

Are you talking about neutering one? Neutering does not stop mating behavior in guinea pigs. Really, if you have two males and there are no females involved, you don't need to neuter one, especially since neutering carries many risks.

The longer your pigs live together the less they will mount and chase each other. These behaviors are usually associated with dominance, and once your two figure out who is boss they usually settle down.
