Here is a picture of my first guinea pig. His name was "Butterscotch", being Polish, we called him "Swinka" which means "piggy" in our language. I don't know if anyone has experienced this, but, our guinea pig had a very usual vocabulary. Here are some of the sounds he vocalized. . "Wheat wheat, wheat" "Fee-ku, fee-ku, fee-ku", "Ocho, ocho, ocho(like Spanish for the number eight)". When I use to come home, I would shout out "fee-ku fee-ku" to my pig and he would respond with "feek". Now this was one amazing pig!!! I think that pigs raised on their own with people have a different language all together. When I say he though he was a dog. . .meaning he followed us around everywhere. When my daughter use to dance around on the carpet. . Swinka would also jump and twist like he was dancing with her.
