We've lost Pinata, Rigel, Dorian, Lilith
Today we lost four of our piggies. I came home to find our dogs had broken not only out of their room, but into the piggies closed cage. They didn't get into the second cage with Mohawk, I'm guessing only because it was on a higher stand. The kids and I are all in tears. We've had the dogs in and out of that room, introduced them to the pigs, had the pigs in a closed cage and the dogs in a closed room. I don't know what else we could have done.
Momma's so sorry piggies, know that we loved you.

Oh, that must have been terrible! I am so sorry! Dogs are so crafty - that scene in Jurassic Park when the velociraptor opens the door....that reminds me of my own dog, who opens doors all the time. You did the best you could - tell the kids we are sorry!

I'm sorry to hear that. Dogs are smart. For future reference, there are these things at wal-mart you put on door knobs to keep children from opening handles. You have to squeeze them to open them. In the baby isles. That might help from the dogs getting out.
