Default In Memory of Shadow

I recently lost my only guinea pig Shadow at age 7 approximately. He was mostly black with some white at the neck and he was the sweetest (and also poopiest) guinea pig ever. He was definitely a blessing to me and I am glad I had him as a pet and companion. I am still working on a scrapbook album of him so that is a work in progress.

Rest In Peace dear Shadow. Run free in the clouds and be happy.

Hi,
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your guinea pig Shadow. I guess there is really nothing to say to take away someones grief after losing a pet. Always remember your pet was loved and brought joy into your life. We have two male little guys at our home and I am so glad that my daughter talked me into adopting them. They have given us so much laughter and happiness in our lives. I think it is a wonderful idea that you are making a scrapbook for memories .

he lived to a grand old age, it is hard on emotions, but all you can do is remember the good and happy times he gave you, we lost 3 within the space of 1 week, 2 3year old boys and a 10 week boy, we where devastated, but the happy memories brought us through.
if you can imagine shadow running through grassy meadows with out a care in the world, popcorning with happiness, you might ease some of the upset, this is how i explained to my 4 year old little girl about where our piggies had gone, after they had passed, and to be honest it worked for me!!!!!
keep the faith in memories.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I miss not having a guinea pig to hold and cuddle with. Shadow will always be loved.
