i just wanted to say good bye to my little piggy. fiona was my first pig. i had her even before i got shrek. she died on thursday. she was 67 days pregnant. i feel so bad. i feel like i messed somethin up. i took her out all the time cept when she got big cuz i didnt want to hurt the babies but i stil played with her in the cage every singl day. she got the best fruits and vedgys 4 times a week. she had the best pellets and always had hay and chew treats and toys and tubes and hamocks and everything. she lived in a nice big c and c cage that me an mom built for her an shrek. i always was very careful with her and she would come to me when i called her and woud lick my nose when i sat her on my chest and pet her. she woud purr and purr and talk to me. i really miss her and i feel like i did somethin wrong that made her die. she was yong and healthy. why did she die? i miss her alot. but now i have 3 new pigs to keep shrek and me busy. i wont ever forget her but i will rember her all the time and will show her how much i loved her by loving my new pigs! maybe she can see me from heaven. i bet she looks real cute with her new wings.

Don't feel like you did something wrong. It's common for female Guinea Pigs die when they give birth or during pregnancy. I know that probably doesn't make you feel any better but don't blame yourself. I'm very sorry for your loss, and you and Fiona, Shrek, and your three new piggies all in my prayers.
I'm 100% with Foggycreek on this. If this sow was bred by 4h pigs then she can blame herself and the only pity I feel is for the poor sow that died. I hope that any mistakes that were made are never repeated and that this senseless playing with animal lives can end.
Well, we don't know the full story. But come on, she's feeling horrible you guys don't have to be so hard on her. It was a mistake, we've all made them. Maybe they were just having babies to add more family members to her little piggy family.

If so then she caused the death by breeding. If the sow was not bred to "just have babies" then she would not have died. There are plenty of animals in shelters and rescue awaiting homes. There is no need to breed and create more.
I agree, we don't know the full story that is why it was stated "if" she bred the sow on purpose.
That's not a valid reason to breed. If they wanted more guinea pigs, they could adopt. And they apparently do not feel guilty enough to stop breeding.

we dint realy breed her on purpos. we dint know a hole lot about pigs then, now we know more. we planed to keep any pups and seprate them and everthing. we did adop the 3 new pigs becus we dint want shrek to be lonly an he was real lonly and squealed for her. we dint breed fiona to get babys but once we new she was pregnant we had her seein the vet and in creased her vitamin c and made her bigger cage and everthing. and we were gonna keep any babys and we put shrek on the other side of the cage so he woudnt breed her agin after she had babys. so i dont think you need to be meen to me. im little and stil learning. i want to learn to take good care of my pigs. i had my cookie a teddy bear hammy for 6 years becus i took so good care of her. i hatch my own chickens and i puled a baby outta a goat when it was breach one time so i know alot about breeding other animals. i miss my fifi so much and wanted to tell you all about her life and the new pigs we adoped cus her. and no we arent gonna breedd anymore. im just not gonna do pigs for 4h. i will just do my chickens like i been doing. i just wanted to show something thats easer for me to handel cus chickens are kinda hard for me cus im little
