In memory of my Lilly
When I got Daisy & Lilly, I found out soon that Daisy was pregnant. Later on, to my surprise, Lilly was looking pregnant too. I didn't know how old she was, but I knew that she was young. Daisy had her babies, and she started bleeding afterwards. I got online and came to this web sight and Foggycreek helped me very much. (Thank you sooo much!!!) That was my first birth and I was a nervous wreck, but she pulled thru, and she is doing GREAT!! Later, Lilly got HUGE!! My fiance was afraid that she wasn't going to make it, and I was very scared too. May 10th, 2008 at 5:15am, Lilly had 6 babies. One boy died a few hours after he was born, and I cried like a baby. Three days later, I went to give them their morning treat and found 2 that had past away. I couldn't figure out what was going on. I took Lilly & the babies to the vet, this being Lilly 4th time, since she was showing signs of preganancy. The Vet gaves them a clear ok. Said that they were doing great. I played with Lilly that evening & she was as cuddly as she always was, but the next morning I found out that she had passed away. (May 10th was the day they were born & the day that I got married.) I don't really know what to say about Lilly being gone. I don't understand what went wrong, I don't know if I done someting wrong or if she was just too young to have that many babies. All that I do know is that I love her and miss her very much. Lilly and I had a bond that I haven't got with the rest. Lilly and Daisy were my first 2 cavies, so I do favor and baby them, although I DO love all of my babies. Lilly just loved me so much and she wanted to be cuddle on all of the time. SO HERE'S TO YOU LILLY! I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH AND I MISS YOU VERY MUCH!!! YOU WERE THE BEST GUINEA PIG IN THE WHOLE WORLD AND NO ONE WILL EVER TAKE YOUR PLACE! YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY HEART!!!! I LOVE YOU, Mommy!!
