Sammie is dying today. Sammie was one of the Hollister guys. He was an adult when we got him, so I was never sure how old he was. He's probably around 5 to 5 1/2. The love of his life, Lola passed away a couple of years ago already. She was from the big Monterey rescue back in 2001. He was like a sweet but protective hubbie to her. They were so cute together.

Oh, i am so sorry, i know how you feel its such a hard feeling that your little animal died.

I hope that Sammy's passing is peaceful. He is one of the lucky ones to have found love and care in his last years and I believe that the one thing you take with you when you go is love. He will surely be carrying some extra bags when he passes.
