My poor Snow White is no more

My little 5 months old Peruvian Guinea Pig is unfortunately, no more.
She died from scurvy yesterday.
At her last few hours, she barely moved, refused to eat and did not respond to anything I did.
I took her to the vet, but sadly, he couldn't save her either.
I miss her so much! I have another guinea pig, and the poor one wheaked all the time, looking for her.

No. it was gradual.
first, she started to breath strangely and ate less, then she responded less to me, then she refused to eat, and she stopped walking and layd down on the cage floor.

Wow, it must have been pretty much ongoing her to die from it. What was her diet? Did you correct it? What are you feeding your remaining pig?

Have you had guinea pigs before? I recommend reading up on appropriate diets of guinea pigs, on here and on Guinea Lynx :: A Medical and Care Guide for Your Guinea Pig .

I feed both of my Guinea pigs in the same way: 3-4 slices of red pepper/apples/carrots. I refill their food plate 2 times a day with a mixture of Cavy food. They also sometimes eat a piece of peach or watermaloon. The only difference between them is the way they eat. Snowhite was thin when I got her, and ate a bit less and slower. She seemed to like Cavy food more than vegetables or fruit.

What brand of guinea pig pellets? You may want to change their diet--it sounds too high in sugars and not enough greens.

The name of the Guinea Pig food is "Cavia Crispy". I think that what she ate was not what lead to her death, but the fact she ate less than my other Guinea pig and that she was thin from the beggining.
