This morning, one of my best friends died. He passed from pneumonia on his way to the vet. It took him quick. He was gone after 3 days.

I adopted him and his brother Niles from Piggie Lovers INC May of 2008. He was an Abyssinian pig with a rooster tail and crooked smile. He always looked as if he were permanently smirking. He was my pig. He was my friend. He could always cheer me up and make the tears stop. He will be missed. But most of all I want to thank him for letting me love him.

Thank you very much. As a piggy lover, I'm sure you know how good they make you feel. There's not one person that I know that doesn't laugh or smile at somethings that our furry friends do. They are adorable and have such personalities.

Your welcome. Guinea pigs always make me happy. When I'm upset about something, I always get my two guinea pigs out and then I feel better. Guinea pigs really do have great personalities, my two guinea pigs like to follow me every time I walk by their cage.

This is a tad late, but I am truly sorry to hear of your loss.

So sorry about your loss. Pneumonia is hard to cure, I lost a foster pig that way myself. The vet at the shelter gave me Baytril for her, but it was too late. So don't fret about what might have been if you had made it to the vet. It wasn't your fault.
