How to GET CLASSIFIED!

#1. REGISTER!
You need to register on the site. This is only to prevent spammers from polluting our site and your inbox! Your email is confidential and will never be shared. You need to register to reply to listings as well as place listings.
#2. Edit your PROFILE!
Before you can place a listing for adoption, rescue or for sale of safe guinea pig products, you need tell us more about yourself in the appropriate profile. Go to My Profiles to update.
If NOT in the US or CANADA:
#2a. Put yourself on the MAP!
If we don't have a zip or postal code, we need to know about where you are so that we can calculate distances for everyone in the world! Go to Googlemap Members to map yourself! US and Canadian members have the option.
#3. Place a Listing!
Based on which profiles you've completed, you may now Place a Listing! Any member can create a shelter listing AFTER they've created a Googlemap PLACES location for it.

Butch needs a buddy
Butch is one sweet cavy. Easy to catch and will crawl all over you. Likes to be held and clipping his nails are no problem. His coat is solid muted orange. He's a good eater and not picky about his veggies. I would be keeping him if not for the fact that I already have 2 girls. I took him in because someone dumped him at the doorstep of my vet.

No, Butch is not fixed. Having him neutered is my last option, if I can't find him a home.
I have 2 girls myself and that's why I am trying to find him a good home with another male for a buddy.

I am wanting to adopt a guinea pig. I live 60 miles west of Nashville, Tennessee. How do I go about finding one in the area.

I found my guinea pigs through my vet and a friend of a friend.
Don't go to a pet store or a breeder.
Do go to your local pet rescue and see if they can spread the word for you.
Good luck - and make sure you get the sex of the guinea pig correct, before you get a friend.
