Porn Spam in the Googlemap Places

Mods, someone has added porn spam to the shelter entries in GoogleMap Places.

Eer, I'm afraid we have kids here. It's a very valid cause, but maybe it could have been Private messaged to someone like Voodoojoint or Ly&pigs.
I don't know, but that's deffinately a bad thing for someone to put on the googlemap. I'm glad you took action.

The spam is getting out of control lately. I also sent a private message to VooDoo and hopefully everything can be fixed. In the mean time PLEASE do not look at any of the advertisement links. I havent looked at them but Im sure its not anything appropriate. Also, many of those links contain nasty viruses.

I've removed the offensive googlemap entries and banned the member. In the future, just pm one of us mods.

There's not a lot we can do about the spam except to rely on members to report it to us mods via the report post feature or pm'ing us about things like the googlemap entries. Then we can take action by removing the spam and banning the member.

I am usually so busy with our sister site guineapigcages.com that I'm not here very much but I get notifications via email for reported posts and private messages.

Yes, guineapigcages is a much bigger site and seems a LOT more busy than here.

Someone also had a porn site for their signiture. I don't get why people think this is the tp post porn and hooker stuff.
