Please Help... Looking to Adopt!!!

Hello! I am new here, and I have been searching for about 4 days for an adoptable guinea pig in the NYC area. I have called shelters, and stopped at the local vets offices to see if they had any suggestions but it seems to be an unpopular thing here. I have read a few threads concerning this. I have also looked on Craigslist and there is nothing to be found. I am willing to travel a little out of the way lik 2 hours tops to adopt two younger males. I am currently in the process of construction a C&C cage for them and anxious to find little ones to play in it. Please post if u have any ideas or if you know of any other websites that have posts in the NYC area. Thanks so much for your time!

I don't know of anything in the NYC area, but on the Philadelphia Craigslist there are several needing new homes. Also on this sites classifieds there is Hershey and Marshmellow who are located in PA and needs a new home. Philly is only about 2 hrs away. It's a thought. Let me know if I can help in some way.

Thanks to all your wonderful suggestions. I found a Piggie not to far away from my own home, and went to get him yesterday. He is a totally adorable little boy with a lot of spirit and spunk. Thanks again to all you wonderful people who gave me suggestions of where to look.
