the kiddy pool keeps the mess in!! no scattered hay or bedding!!! woohooo any advice on gettin these babies to eat veggies..they came from pets mart and they wont touch a bit of any veggie i have tryed i have a rabbit that eats veggies and hay as his main diet and pellets here and there as a treat per my vet who now claimes the pellets cause teeth issues in rabbits...anyways there i go runnin at the mouth hehehe..anyway i know how important veggies are to the piggies..any advice?
Great idea that pool, have one sitting doing nothing-not any more. I have 2 new rescue pigs and they won't eat vegies either (having never seen them no doubt) but from experience just keep offering them and they will soon get the idea. All my other girls get vegie and fruit juice pulp plus the juice, mixed with steamed rolled barley and they love their "porriage".
the pool was started with my rabbit that someone was gonna turn loose at 3 weeks old...fttt people so we got him home and we had the pool for the doys to play in water with well it became the rabbits home with a kiddy corral around it!!! now he has his own encloser and now the piggies have his old one!! works great!!! i put a few greens and a few other things in there with them everyday after a few hours i take it out my rabbit was on greans from day one!! per my great vet!!!!i think what all you recue people do is great!! i wish i would have know about ya'll before i bought my boys! to be honest they were in crappy living space it smelled bad and they were dirty so i bought them to save them! im so glad i did!!!!!!!anyways ill keep offering these lil boys greens in hopes they will eat them..now what about vitamin c? what is the best for a supplement besides the veggies?
