I agree. I think that really elaborate clothing, such as shirts and dresses and costumes and such are mean, but a little collar or hat is okay, as long as it is easy to take on and off, loose enough that it won't choke them, and you monitor them when they wear it.

I believe that most people only do it for a few moments, to take a photo.

I really think it depends on the pig. I mean, if it's uncomfortable for them, I'm sure they'd let you know about it. I once tried to put a small animal leash on my pig, and that did not go over well, so back to the store it went! My Whiskey loves to snuggle quite tightly into a pillow case, so that makes me think that if the clothes were made properly they mihgt actually find security in them. Just my humble opinion.

I agree with you apple lady. They can feel comfortable if they like them. Me and my sister handmade costumes for my pigs. They were romeo and juliet. I hope I can find the picture. I designed the clothes and my sister sewed them. I only kept the outfit on to take a picture. I could tell they weren't thrilled. Snickers didn't like the hat, but was fine with the Romeo cape. Cocoa
was fine with his little hat/veil, but didn't like the skirt, but they humored me. I do occassionally
dress them in clothes when they allow me. Sometimes they aren't in the mood. Cocoa likes it the
best I think. Cocoa HATES leashes. I can't take him with me to animal assisted therapy visits
because they require a leash for visits. Too bad he loves visiting people.
