Is my piggy fat?

She is about two and 3/4 old. She weighs about 2.2 pounds. She looks kind of fat, but I figure that 2.2 pounds is a good weight for her. Is that a good weight?

I honestly don't know. I may get pics of mine and post. Mine seem to be fat.

It all depends on the individual pig. 2.2 pounds is certainly an average weight, but on one pig this could mean he's fat, and another pig may be thin at that weight.

Its had to say when you dont monitor their weight daily. Sadly I just picked up a scale last week to monitor my pigs weights.

Ziggy 5 year old boy 2.2lbs
Shadow 2 year old girl 3lbs

Both of them are active and eat normal.

My piggy in my opinion is thin! She eats ALOT but she is so energetic! She burns it all off. It may look like she's fat but she's an Abby and her fluffy fur makes her seem big. Haha!

I'm not sure how you tell if a pig is fat. As long as they get out and run around often, and I don't give them fatty foods, I don't think it's something to worry about.
I have 3 piggies. Popcorn is an abyssian and though she looks the biggest, she weighs the least at 2 lbs. Pineapple is the youngest, a tortie, and weighs 2.5 lbs. And Potato weighs 2 lbs. 13 oz. Yes, we have food issues and it's evident in the names. Our previous piggies were Oreo, Cookie, Peanut and Apple.

No, maybe she just looks that way. Hair on a piggy makes a big optical illusion. Especially on long hairs.
