Biting Pig

I think Ill just use an old pair of gloves or get a new pair just for him. I want to make sure I have a good hold on him and being able to still use my fingers would help. Either way, Ill figure out something to do.

Is he the only piggie you have? My guinea pig Freddy occassionaly nips me when he sees that I am playing with his brother. I have to have seperate time for each pig. They love eachother but Freddy wants mommy all to himself.

Yes, he is the only one I have at the moment. Im adopting a friend for him this month as soon as we find one that agrees with his tempermant (he is quite the snooty little guy). I think biting is just part of his personality since he does it in such an odd way. When he bites, he purposely tries to draw skin. He clamps down on your hand or arm, gets a good grip and then yanks his head back. If its not successful the first time, he'll trty again. Although it hurts me, his effort really does give me a giggle.
