Re: Veggie list
I don't know about "approved," but I can tell you what my pig personally likes to eat. I let him decide, within reason, what he likes to eat. He's picky enough, lol.
Hates:
radishes, broccoli crowns, spinach, soft fruit, citrus anything, celery, bananas
Loves:
Would die for: dark green lettuce, dandelion leaves (the kind that comes in lettuce mixes), carrots, grass (clean, no pesticides, from my lawn), and tomatoes.
Will eat: iceberg lettuce, celery tops (the leafy parts), apples, red cabbage, green beans (fresh, of course)

Re: Veggie list
Isnt it funny how each to his/her own. Lunalily had said "my piggie Hates:
radishes, broccoli crowns, spinach, soft fruit, citrus anything, celery, bananas"
But my Max loves celery! haha I just dont want to offer him anything he isnt suposed to have.

Re: Veggie list
I have had my guinea pigs for a while and I was wondering...I don't give my guinea pigs vitamin drops or anything like that because some say its not good for them because it ruins their water. Well my question is...Is it ok to buy like %100 orange juice and put half into their bottles and then fill the rest with water? I have been doin that to give them vitamin C, but I need to know if thats ok or not?

Re: Veggie list
No. Don't add anything to the water at all. Please look at the food links above to give your pets a good diet. All they need to insure they get enough Vit C is a good diet of High Quality pellets, unlimited grass hay and daily, balanced veggies. If they get a good diet you will not need to add any extra supplements.
If for some reason you do need to supplement extra Vit C then you should get it either in tablet form (Oxbow sells a good one) or liquid form. The supplement should not ever be added to the water. You can either sprinkle it on their food or give it directly by mouth.
