Hello there, and welcome to the site.
It would be best for you to adopt a guinea pig, instead of buying one. Are there any rescues in your area?
1. Most guinea pigs don't ever need to be bathed. If they need it, use a shampoo formulated for small animals, not a medicated one. If you can't find it, use a non-medicated kitten shampoo. No flea shampoos.
2. Guinea pigs don't eat their young. I suggest you don't breed. The mortality rate with guinea pig births is very high.
3. I suggest you read the
Care Guide from
Guinea Lynx :: A Medical and Care Guide for Your Guinea Pig . It talks about bedding, and which ones work best.
