I have the best news! A family that lives 45 mins. from me, saw my add on the cavy web site
(www.guineapighome.com) and contacted me to ask if they could adopt Midnight and Pook. They'd already adopted a
Katherina cavy and also have a neutered male. I spoke with Dana at length and am confident they will be safe and loved. Several people have e-mailed me but...I felt they were looking for a Christmas present rather than a companion.

Description: They are bonded, loving and beautiful female Abbies. Midnight 4 yrs old looks like a German Shepard and Pook-a-Mook 8 weeks is tri-colored, rosetted with a blazed face. Both have square faces and look like lovable Wookies... Little Pook just this week learned to trust and purr. She was shell shocked when I took over care for her, but she is eating and gaining weight. Midnight had been alone her whole life and never lived with another pig. Being a herd animal, she purrs all the time now and is pop-corning even though she is four years. old. She too is gaining weight. Midnight has never been bred and never learned to act and sound like an adult.
