4 friendly young boars--2 babies
Bagel & Peanut are five week old brothers who love each other very much. Bagel will cry for his borther if they're apart. Both are friendly and playful, but still fairly skittish. They were born in our home three weeks after we adopted their mother and are handled regularly as we're trying to get them more comfortable with people.
Poppy (originally named as a girl) is the older brother of the babies. We believe him to be 3 to 5 months old. He's very curious and interested in people and the other pigs, but still scared of being picked up. He will settle down after a moment and enjoys being held or watching tv from my lap. He very much enjoys floor time and snack time. When we adopted him, he was smaller than the other boys are now at just five weeks, but he's got an appetite and has been gaining weight nicely.
Fiyero is the father of all three boys, however, he is still a fairly young adult. He is probably one of the sweetest pigs I have ever met. He is very sociable, he'll stand on two legs at the walls of his cage to beg for veggies and to flirt with the girls in the cage next door, or just to get my attention when I come in the room. Fiyero will often let you pet him in the cage. He likes to be held and petted and will lay down and cuddle into you. He is probably my favorite of our large family and I hate to have to give him up, but we usually only have female pigs and I don't want to subject him to neutering if it can be avoided. Fiyero does have a problem with fecal impaction and should go to a home with guinea pig experience.
These pigs currenlty all live together without any conflicts or aggression issues. They will need to be adopted in pairs or groups or to homes with a male or altered female already present. You may bring your pig to meet mine to be sure they get along before you adopt. Pigs should be housed in a C&C cage.
Fiyero, Poppy, and another pig, Maggie were listed on Craig's list as hamsters by a family who didn't want them any more. I contacted them looking for one female pig as a companion to my female who had recently lost her cagemate. Instead of one, the family insisted I take all four pigs--in one tiny cage. (The fourth pig immediately found a new home and I took these three home with me.) It pretty quickly became apparent that Maggie was already pregnant and three weeks later she gave birth to seven babies--five girls and two boys (peanut & bagel). The boys really are the cutest of the litter, but we're trying to remain a sow-only household, so we're trying to find new homes for all four boars.

hi my name is bella and me and a group of people have a guinea pig rescue in florida but my friend travels. We take in guinea pigs at no charge and find them great homes. You can contact us at sims.shawna@yahoo.com, gprescueSRQ@yahoo.com or go to our website www.gprescue.com but our 6 guinea pigs that need homes are not up yet because 3 are pending adoptins and the other three are not ready to be adopted.
