Male Abysinnian Needs New Home, SA TX Jack is a sweet dark brown Abysinnian that needs a new home. My friend originally obtained him from a local Petsmart where he worked. Unfortunately he developed severe allergies and could no longer care for him. Because my friend was moving, he needed to find a new home for Jack quickly. So it was at that time that I decided to take care of Jack at least until I could find new home for him. Which is why I placed this listing. As much as I would love to hold on to Jack, I cannot permanently take care of him.
Jack is almost a year old, and he is not quite tamed. Although he does enjoy the occasional cuddle. His favorite veggies include carrots and romaine lettuce. He has a 2x3 C&C with a 1x2 loft. Which can go with him to his new home as well as a few other accessories (fleece, water bottle, bowl, etc.). If you are interested or would like some more info, please let me know. I would like to find the perfect home for him.

Is he still available? If so would you be willing to meet around Austin? I am in Houston but will be in Austin in 2 weeks for the weekend. We have 1 male piggy, about 6-8 months old and are looking for a buddy for him.

If dawnm decides not to adopt, I am interested as well. We are in San Antonio and just lost one of our two male cavys and my 13 yr old is very sad. We think that our cavy passed from natural causes (3+ years old), but are replacing the cage etc and keeping the other cavy in quarantine for a week or so to ensure that there isn't something communicable to a new cavy.
Oreo is in a 27" x 71" coroplast open cage (we have no cats and our dogs are bassets--low to the floor) kept on a table in my daughters room
Please contact at your convenience--thanks :-)
