Bonded Pair Of Pretty Boys
Zippy and Doo-Dah are a bonded pair of male guinea pigs. Zippy is a white, brown and black Abyssinian guinea pig. Doo-Dah is a brown, white and caramel short hair guinea pig. They are both around 7-8 months old.
Zippy and Doo-Dah came into the rescue when their former owner could no longer care for them. They came to us very skittish and afraid. Since we have gotten them they have calmed down so much. They are getting used to being held. They love floor time the most where they get to run around be the adventurous duo they are. Zippy is the more calmer of the duo, he likes lap time alot more then Doo-Dah does. Doo-Dah is a bit more afraid, but he is slowly warming up. They have both started to take veggies from the front of the cage which is a huge improvement of when they came. They are both active younger male guinea pigs so they love to explore their cage, and will popcorn when you give them fresh hay and water. They are food stealers, the one will get a piece of romaine and the other will steal it, and they go back and forth until the food is gone.
Zippy and Doo-Dah are a great pair of male guinea pigs. They are so cute, especially Zippy with his crazy hair. They have warmed up so much since we got them and we are happy for them. We hope that they are able to find their forever home soon. Zippy and Doo-Dah would do great with any family. They need extra love and attention to continue to calm down and become aquainted with trusting us humans. They are now starting to run up to the front of the cage and wheek really loud for their veggies every morning. They love fresh Timothy Hay, which they can be caught seen popcorning all over the cage once you refill the hayloft. Zippy and Doo-Dah deserve a forever home, and are waiting patiently here at the rescue
