How to GET CLASSIFIED!

#1. REGISTER!
You need to register on the site. This is only to prevent spammers from polluting our site and your inbox! Your email is confidential and will never be shared. You need to register to reply to listings as well as place listings.
#2. Edit your PROFILE!
Before you can place a listing for adoption, rescue or for sale of safe guinea pig products, you need tell us more about yourself in the appropriate profile. Go to My Profiles to update.
If NOT in the US or CANADA:
#2a. Put yourself on the MAP!
If we don't have a zip or postal code, we need to know about where you are so that we can calculate distances for everyone in the world! Go to Googlemap Members to map yourself! US and Canadian members have the option.
#3. Place a Listing!
Based on which profiles you've completed, you may now Place a Listing! Any member can create a shelter listing AFTER they've created a Googlemap PLACES location for it.

Palo Alto Animal Services has provided quality shelter for stray and unwanted animals at our facility since 1973. We also run a highly-regarded, low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination clinic. Our adoption program aims to ensure that our adoptable animals are placed in permanent, responsible, loving homes. Your cooperation during the adoption process helps result in a good match for both you and the pet.
Guinea Pig adoption fee is $5.00
Animals may be surrendered to our shelter only by residents of Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos and Los Altos Hills.

Open: Monday - Saturday, 11:00am - 5:30pm, except holidays. Closed every other Friday. In order to complete the adoption process, it is necessary to begin adoptions by 4:30pm.
