Oakville and District Humane Society This shelter houses and receives guinea pigs and rabbits on a regular basis. The OHS is a low-kill shelter and will only euthanize animals that are beyond hope of recovery. As a result, they will only take in more animals when there is space for them. They provide on-site vet care and very clean housing for the animals. The small animals are socialized by volunteers, who also take notes about them, allowing a potential adopter to find out more about them.

Bah, I can't figure out how to do a google map location for this shelter, I did it but it keeps listing it as a member.

Usually shelters that can reject animals also have a nearby shelter that does, in fact, accept all animals. They are usually a higher-kill city or county facility. Those facilities usually work with the one such as Oakville for the adoptions. Do you know what the situation is here? Thanks for posting about the shelter.

Did you click on Googlemap PLACES rather than Googlemap Members? I don't see an entry for the shelter in the Places section which is where it needs to be. I'll work on trying to make it easier.

Hm...I know there is a nearby rescue called Rabbit Rescue which takes in small animals when their time is up at shelters. Unfortunately, no I don't know if there is another shelter that would take all animals in if Oakville can't. I know they put people on waiting lists and make exceptions to special cases though. Also there is a pretty high turnover rate with the bigger animals so I'm not really sure if there would be a need for a bigger shelter, Oakville is a relatively small place. But of course I don't know all that goes behind the scene.
And yes, I did try to click on places but for some reason it just wouldn't let me put down a marker,

Oh, I think I figured it out...it was tricky. It kind of seems like you have to edit the information in three different places? First on your profile, then on the actual listing, then on google maps. Is there any way to combine all three of those into one?
P.S. Is it possible to edit a listing too? Maybe I should copy and paste some more stuff from their website onto there.
P.P.S. Now I can't figure out how to add my google map marker under the listing. Every other shelter listed has a marker sign you can click on, mine doesn't and I don't know how to fix it :|.

No, it is not possible to combine everything. No other applications come close to providing all of this functionality and there is a reason for it. Not easy at all. For listing shelters, your profile doesn't really matter.
Since you got the Googlemap Place listing right, if you "list elements" on that map, you'll see your entry is #9. Now edit the shelter listing-- "click edit listing". Put '9' in the Googlemap field. That should do it!

I had a bug in the edit program. It's fixed. Now you can edit the Googlemap Place ID to enter it properly after the fact. I've updated the ID for this shelter. Thanks!
