How to GET CLASSIFIED!
|
#1. REGISTER!
You need to register on the site. This is only to prevent spammers from polluting our site and your inbox! Your email is confidential and will never be shared. You need to register to reply to listings as well as place listings.
#2. Edit your PROFILE!
Before you can place a listing for adoption, rescue or for sale of safe guinea pig products, you need tell us more about yourself in the appropriate profile. Go to My Profiles to update.
If NOT in the US or CANADA:
#2a. Put yourself on the MAP!
If we don't have a zip or postal code, we need to know about where you are so that we can calculate distances for everyone in the world! Go to Googlemap Members to map yourself! US and Canadian members have the option.
#3. Place a Listing!
Based on which profiles you've completed, you may now Place a Listing! Any member can create a shelter listing AFTER they've created a Googlemap PLACES location for it.

Twin Cities Guinea Pig Rescue
Based in Minnesota. We adopt out to residents of Minnesota and surrounding states. Guinea pigs come from local humane societies at their request, and from city pounds were the guinea pig has been confiscated from the owner. We accept owner surrenders very limitedly, and would rather help owners place their guinea pigs themselves. Our emphasis is focused more on education than adoption.

Hi Allysse,
We have a guinea pig, Violet, she is black and tan and sweet. She ia about a year old. We got him for our youngest son when we kived in Scittsdale Az. Bought her at Petsmart. We have 2 dogs and a cat, and are unable to care for her. I also always sneeze when I go into the room she's in, I may be allergic to the cage litter or maybe Violet herself. We live in Eden Prairie. Can you take her, or do you have any suggestions? Thanks! Maria
