#2. Edit your PROFILE!
Before you can place a listing for adoption, rescue or for sale of safe guinea pig products, you need tell us more about yourself in the appropriate profile. Go to My Profiles to update.
If NOT in the US or CANADA:
#2a. Put yourself on the MAP!
If we don't have a zip or postal code, we need to know about where you are so that we can calculate distances for everyone in the world! Go to Googlemap Members to map yourself! US and Canadian members have the option.
#3. Place a Listing!
Based on which profiles you've completed, you may now Place a Listing! Any member can create a shelter listing AFTER they've created a Googlemap PLACES location for it.

San Mateo is in northern CA, so not close to Los Angeles. You might try southern CA rescues such as Orange County Cavy Cavy Haven http://www.cavyhaven.org/ or Rabbit and Pocket Pet adoptions http://www.rabbitadoption.org/ They are much closer to you and have loads of adoptable piggies. Good luck in your search for your lonely boar!

Shipping to Seattle would not be an option. I would recommend contacting petfinder.com your local shelter, or a rescue that's closer to you in WA. There is Foggy Creek Cavy Rescue in Auburn WA, which is not too far from you.
