Before you can place a listing for adoption, rescue or for sale of safe guinea pig products, you need tell us more about yourself in the appropriate profile. Go to My Profiles to update.

#2a. Put yourself on the MAP!
If we don't have a zip or postal code, we need to know about where you are so that we can calculate distances for everyone in the world! Go to Googlemap Members to map yourself! US and Canadian members have the option.
#3. Place a Listing!
Based on which profiles you've completed, you may now Place a Listing! Any member can create a shelter listing AFTER they've created a Googlemap PLACES location for it.

Henry, Long-haired Male, Needs New Home
Beautiful, mature ginger and white colored long-haired male named "Henry" (combination Abysinnian/Peruvian/Coronet) needs new home due to family illness. Six-year old Henry is laid-back and enjoys being massaged or petted and having his chin stroked. He is great with kids including my toddler who occasionally squeezes him too hard. He is already used to being around dogs that bark, and will not be stressed out about it. However, he does get stressed out by being around other guinea pigs. Not neutered, we once tried to introduce him to a baby male guinea pig. Over time the other pig became dominant and bossy, and Henry became depressed and stopped eating. Ideal home would be a family that only wants one pig with an established personality: laid back. He comes with two cages (main cage on rolling wheels is 3'x2' plus ramp and attached external hiding annex; other is a portable vacation cage) and all supplies.

i can not take him but a friend of mine has two male guinea pigs (one is long haired) and would be happy to take him.
i first must ask her when i get the answer, i will give feedback.
