Father and son piggie pair Looking for a permanent home for my father and son guinea pig pair.
I adopted three months ago from a family in the community, and I was told that I had two males. I woke up last week and found three babies in the cage. I've had quite an education about guinea pigs in the last week. Any way, I'm keeping the sow and her two female babies together (from what I've learned, she's probably already pregnant again, and I want to make sure that she gets the care she needs and that this doesn't happen again . . . ).
Speedy Baby (the father) has a wonderful personality. He's sweet, and he has a bit of attitude. We love it- he's very entertaining. He's getting more and more used to cuddle time. Speedy Baby is black and white with a tiny bit of brown.
Brownie (the baby) is a week old and adorable. He's very attached to his mom, but he loves to hang out with his dad. His coat is black, white and brown. We currently have the herd in a c&c cage where the adults are separated, but the babies can go back and forth. In two weeks, we will put up a cloroplast block in the cage so that the males and females are permanently separted, but will be able to be close to one another. The pair will be available for adoption in two weeks, once we need to separate the baby male from the females.
I'm looking to find a great permanent home for the father and son. I will only adopt them out together- I want to make sure that they both have a friend.
Please see the cavy spirit page on adoption. I will only adopt out to families who can meet the cavy spirit criterion on adoption. The only exception is that I will charge no fee. Please see the link below:

I would LOVE to adopt your boys, only problem is that I live in Indiana. I've heard that they can be shipped but I don't know anything about cost or if it is hard on the pigs or not. Let me know, arcochra@iupui.edu

They are adorable! Unfortunately I'm looking to adopt a buddy for my female guinea pig. If you decide to adopt out one of the female babies, please e-mail me at CJL79@aol.com.
