Two wonderful girls need great homes Holland Lop and Rex mix (?) need to find a loving, experienced home that has lots of time for them!!
I'm really heartbroken about having to do this, but I need to find new homes for my two female rabbits. I'm a full-time college student and also work full time. I just transfered from a community college to a university, which I'm finding is much more draining physically, mentally, and emotionally. My bunnies just aren't getting the quality time that they used to. On top of that, I will be moving to a smaller apartment because of financial reasons in a few months and fear that either my new landlord will refuse to accept them, forcing me to get rid of them quickly, or that they won't have a good area to run around in.
I'm looking for one home that will take both or different homes for each of them, as they are not bonded. Neither has been spayed.
Lucci, the grey bunny, is about a 1 1/2 to 2 years old. She is very friendly and calm. She hardly protests to being held on her back and loves head and chin rubs. At about 10 months old, her hormones kicked in and made her more agressive. This has make it difficult to socialize her. She doesn't seem to like my other bunny, Bebe, at all. She does, however, get along very well with my cats. I was told that she is a holland lop, but I'm not completely sure about it.
Bebe is an estimated six months old. I got her out of an unwanted litter that someone abondoned at Petco. I had read that bunnies should not be kept solo and thought that Lucci should bond with another rabbit. Perhaps because they are both not spayed, the bonding never happened. Bebe is a beautiful short haired possible rex mix with a great temperment. She is a little shy because she hasn't had the handling she needs, but she is very sweet nonetheless.
I love both of them so much, but am finally admitting that I have been selfish in keeping them because I know that someone else will have more time for them, and they deserve that. I know this is a site for guinea pigs, but I can tell how much the people here love their pets and haven't found a comparable site for rabbits. I am really hoping to find the perfect home for them here because I don't want to just put an ad in the newspaper. I want to be sure that they go to a GREAT home that is familiar with rabbits and not to a home that isn't going to put forward the effort.
I would be willing to drive them/her to you if you live in Southern California and within a reasonable distance from the Palm Springs Coachella Valley area. No rehoming fee if you are the perfect new home I am looking for.
Please contact me with any questions; I would be happy to talk to you.
