Max needs a new home. :(
Hello,

I purchased Max in April and he is the cutest, most friendly guinea pig in the world! Unfortunately, I am very allergic to him and it is getting out of control. It really pains me to get rid of him as he is absolutely adorable and so, so sweet. He's about one year old. He has lived alone since I got him, so I don't know how he gets along with other guineas, but I can't imagine him being anything other than sweet.

I'm looking for someone to take Max as soon as possible. I will be traveling home for Christmas on December 19 and would like to find a home before then if possible. He comes with a cage, all feeding accessories, and plenty of toys. If you or someone you know is interested, please contact me. Again - I can't tell you how cute and sweet and friendly he is.

Thanks so much for your interest.

I have a wonderful update! A fabulous forum reader named Michelle called and told me that she thought she was allergic to her guinea, but was actually allergic to the timothy hay her pig was eating. I was skeptical, but I replaced Max's loose hay with the cubed hay, and the change is remarkable! It has only been about a week, but so far I think the hay was definitely the culprit. Max and I are happier than ever, and I think we'll be enjoying each others' company for years to come! Thanks again to all who inquired about Max. It's great to know there are so many people out there looking out for needy pets. Happy New Year!

I'm so glad to hear that you and Max will be staying together. My guinea pig's name was also Max, and I loved him very much and so seeing your posting kind of brought me back. Good luck to you and your piggy!
