How to GET CLASSIFIED!

#1. REGISTER!
You need to register on the site. This is only to prevent spammers from polluting our site and your inbox! Your email is confidential and will never be shared. You need to register to reply to listings as well as place listings.
#2. Edit your PROFILE!
Before you can place a listing for adoption, rescue or for sale of safe guinea pig products, you need tell us more about yourself in the appropriate profile. Go to My Profiles to update.
If NOT in the US or CANADA:
#2a. Put yourself on the MAP!
If we don't have a zip or postal code, we need to know about where you are so that we can calculate distances for everyone in the world! Go to Googlemap Members to map yourself! US and Canadian members have the option.
#3. Place a Listing!
Based on which profiles you've completed, you may now Place a Listing! Any member can create a shelter listing AFTER they've created a Googlemap PLACES location for it.

Pumpkin Spice from Looosiana!
Pumpkin Spice, "Spice" for short, is a short-haired orange and white intact male piggie with a white crest. He is about six months old. He's affectionate with his people when held, but does not like to be picked up. He will come to you for a treat, and rush back to his hidey to eat it. We adopted him from a family as a companion to our other piggie (Auburn). Unfortunately, they just don't get along. We've tried every trick, but they both think they need to be dominant, Spice more so.
Currently he is caged in a 3x2 C&C with aspen bedding. He eats the usual unlimited Timothy hay, pellets, vitamin C tablet, and veggies every evening. His cage is in the family room, so he's held, talked to and given treats (a little slice of baby carrot, tiny apple wedge or cranberry treat) throughout each day.

I'd like to add that Spice has come a long was since we met him. He is in my lap right now. He let me pick him up from his cage. He now comes out to meet us when we are in the room and "wheeks" his hi. Hooray! Another month or two and I think he'll be quite friendly and tame. I'm just so not taking him back to where he came from, poor thing.
