How to GET CLASSIFIED!

#1. REGISTER!

#2. Edit your PROFILE!
Before you can place a listing for adoption, rescue or for sale of safe guinea pig products, you need tell us more about yourself in the appropriate profile. Go to My Profiles to update.
If NOT in the US or CANADA:
#2a. Put yourself on the MAP!
If we don't have a zip or postal code, we need to know about where you are so that we can calculate distances for everyone in the world! Go to Googlemap Members to map yourself! US and Canadian members have the option.
#3. Place a Listing!
Based on which profiles you've completed, you may now Place a Listing! Any member can create a shelter listing AFTER they've created a Googlemap PLACES location for it.

Cavie in need of a home!
My son rescued this guinea pig the other night while on the job. My son found it on the grass in front of the emergency room of one of the hospitals he transported a patient too. It was a rainy night so he, and his partner put it in a box, and brought it to me.
I cannot keep this little critter, and I am looking for a home for it. I do not know the sex, or age. What I can tell you is that it appears to be healthy, it is black with a white stripe down the center of it's face.
Can you guys help me find it a home?
I would honestly love to keep it, but I cannot in all honesty afford another pet. We currently have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 3 s/w aquariums, and a turtle. As you can see we already have a full house.
Please help me find this poor baby a home ASAP, as it is currently in a tinyyyyyyyy 20 gallon fish tank.

Thank you GuineaPinny!! I hope so too! I feel so bad for the little guy/gal. The tank it is currently in is no where near acceptable. It only measures 12" X 30". I wish I could keep it for ever, but all of what I've learned here on this great site tells me that I cannot provide it with the proper home.
Everytime I go into my son's room to give it food, water, and it's hay it greets me with those adorable squeek noises. I can see how you all fell inlove with these little critters. But with 3 pit bulls, and the two cats I would be in constant fear for the welfare of this little guy/gal.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart Happiestgirl!!!!:hug: Ms.Stripe (my son named her Stripe because of the small white stripe down the middle of her face) is in the loving hands of S, on her way to you! Please keep us updated on how she is doing. I really must learn not to get attached to all these beautiful abandoned babies.;(
